Richmond Wellbeing Service is an NHS primary care talking therapy (IAPT) and specialist psychiatry liaison service serving people registered with a Richmond GP. We are seeking 3 full time Band 7 CBT therapists to join our High Intensity IAPT team. The post holders will provide assessments and high intensity CBT to individuals and groups. The post holder will work with people who have a range of complex anxiety disorders and depression related problems for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective. The post holders will work with people who have Long Term Conditions alongside a common mental health problem and an interest, experience, and/or training in working with long term conditions is desirable. The post holders will work with people from different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary. You will work in various community settings within the Borough of Richmond (including GP surgeries) and from the Main Base (currently in Twickenham). The post holders will be expected to work one evening/week 12-8pm, and may be asked to work from home one day a week offering telephone assessments and/or web-based treatment.
