Geographic areas our services cover
ELFT provides a wide range of community and inpatient services to children, young people, adults of working age, older adults and forensic services to the City of London, Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets, Bedfordshire and Luton. We provide psychological therapy services to the London Borough of Richmond, as well as Children and Young People's Speech and Language Therapy in Barnet.
In addition, the Trust provides forensic services to the London Boroughs of Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge and Waltham Forest, and some specialist mental health services to North London, Hertfordshire and Essex.
The specialist Forensic Personality Disorder service serves North London and the specialist Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME adult outpatient service serves North London and the South of England.
The Trust's specialist Mother and Baby Psychiatric Unit receives referrals from London and the South East of England.
We are looking for an ambitious and high performing Management Accountant to work within a outward facing, customer focused and value added Financial Management service to our Bedfordshire and Luton Directorates.
The key responsibilities of the role are:-
Finance and Business Planning
Completion of month end financial adjustments
Production of the month end Financial Performance reports and narratives
Assisting in the production of forecasts
Contributing to the annual budget setting/planning process
Maintaining accurate and timely Resource reports (Establishments) that support Workforce Planning and Reporting
Meeting with budget holders and completing and distributing budget holder meeting minutes
Supporting the planning and reporting of Cost Improvement Programmes (CIP)
Provision of financial advice and training to non-financial staff
Continuously improving and developing the management accounting service to budget holders
You will provide financial information to the budget holders and Divisional Management Teams that is timely, robust and accurate. You will provide high quality tools, reports, information and data to enable budget managers to effectively and efficiently manage budgets and to support the development of strategies to improve financial performance.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills along with the ability to discuss, explain, influence, recommend and prioritise financial information and required actions to drive and improve financial performance.
