ELFT (East London NHS Foundation Trust) is making a positive difference to thousands of people’s lives, providing support so that they can fulfil their potential and enjoy healthy lives.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for full-time experienced Community Mental Health Nurses to join multi-disciplinary Community Mental Health Team serving the needs of People within the diverse population of Luton.
You will be given the opportunity to influence change in the development of Care Delivery and take charge of your personal development. Your enthusiasm for providing a high quality service will be matched by your ability to work collaboratively with service users who are experiencing a range of mental health and social care needs, as well as providing support and assessment to their carers and families. An excellent understanding of the issues people with mental health needs may experience is essential for this post as is a good understanding of Care Programme Approach and Case Management.
As a Community Mental Health Nurse within the team you will hold a varied caseload, undertaking the role of care coordinator for those with complex mental health needs along with providing specific interventions. You will need to be flexible and enjoy new challenges to meet the developing needs of the service from a holistic and integrated approach.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
