An opportunity has arisen to work within Corporate Safeguarding Adults Team at ELFT.
You will be based in Luton and Bedfordshire.
The SGA team would like to recruit a Named Professional for Safeguarding Adults to cover a secondment. The post is for a 12 month fixed term contract or a secondment
You will have up to date knowledge and practical experience of the application of current legislation and statutory guidance relating to safeguarding adults
A key component of the role will be to promote and safeguard the welfare of adults at risk and ensure safeguarding is an integral part of practice for all our staff in line with the Care Act 2014 and Multi-Agency safeguarding procedures.
You will be able to deliver SGA level 3 training to large groups of staff which is a core function of the role. Additionally you will provide group supervision and support services to carry out SGA work.
We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate the skills, knowledge and drive necessary to work across inpatient and community teams and locality partnerships to achieve the best outcomes for patients, relatives, carers and staff.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
