The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the Trust has comprehensive training and support systems in place for Resuscitation so that patient safety is maintained and the Trust complies with national standards 
As a senior member of staff, the post holder will be required to lead on the development, delivery and monitoring of competence-based training programmes.

To lead on the audit process on Resuscitation involving collection, analysis and reporting on resuscitation data on a local and national basis.

The post holder will deliver expert advice and will practice expanded clinical skills within the whole Trust, working collaboratively with the Service managers. 
The post holder is also responsible for supervising and managing how the contracted companies with be servicing and maintaining medical devices. The role will also be involved in the tender process for contracts.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

The postholder will have regular contact with vulnerable people and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
