ELFT (East London NHS Foundation Trust) is making a positive difference to thousands of people’s lives, providing support so that they can fulfil their potential and enjoy healthy lives.

An exciting development opportunity has arisen within the Bedfordshire Complex Needs Service for a full-time core mental health professional with an interest in joining a Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) team and completing DBT Foundation training. The successful candidate will be committed to working collaboratively with other members of the specialist personality disorder team to create a psychologically safe environment that enables the delivery of effective DBT to service users with a diagnosis of personality disorder. The post holder will be required to participate in weekly DBT team consultation meetings and will offer specialist advice, supervision, training, and consultation to other professionals and teams to support effective and efficient psychologically-informed care and treatment across the care pathway for people with a diagnosis of personality disorder in Bedfordshire. We would welcome interest from candidates who are committed to contributing to the development of the service and personality disorder care pathway through participation in clinical research, audit and/or quality improvement projects.
