Band 7 Deputy Manager Bedfordshire & Luton Early Intervention in Psychosis - 12 month secondment starting September 2019
An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen for the Deputy Manager in the countywide Bedfordshire & Luton Early Intervention in Psychosis Team. We provide a three year service which offers treatment and support to people (and their families) who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis. We also offer a year long service for people who are at high risk of developing a first episode of psychosis.
The role will focus on working alongside the team manager to enable the team to deliver a high quality service in line with national standards including social inclusion, physical health and carer provision and to develop innovative ideas to expand this further.
The post holder will be a registered mental health professional with a sound background of working in a community mental health setting and care coordination within CPA. They will have experience in clinical supervision and will have strong leadership skills. The post holder will be expected to work flexibly to ensure delivery of full care packages. They will also provide psychosocial interventions and undertake specialist assessments which will require a good understanding of At Risk Mental States and Psychosis. The team strongly supports ongoing professional development and structured Behavioural Family Therapy and Psychosocial Intervention training opportunities are available locally and as part of our regional Early Intervention network.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
