In Bedfordshire we are at the forefront of innovation within CAMHS, a service which is designed to provide emotional and behavioral support to young people with expert help at the time they need it by East London NHS Trust.
We have a Nursing vacancy within our Bedford based Emotional and Behavioural CAMHS team to join our dynamic and responsive MDT.
As a community based position, the Nurse will provide a specialist nursing service offering episodes of care, assessments and treatments to a wide variety of young people with emotional and behavioural needs open to and receiving treatment from Bedfordshire CAMHS.
The post holder will require a high degree of professional autonomy and self-management, and will be required to account for their professional practice through appraisal and audit. Making a real difference to their lives, youll thrive on the chance to drive change through the system so that even more people can access support.
You will need to be an imaginative and strategic thinker, inspirational and determined in your approach and exceptional in your ability to influence others, who will bring new ways of working to embrace this exciting opportunity; to work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering specialist community support services for children and adolescents presenting with a range of emotional and behavioural problems.
Every member of the clinical staff has access to remote working including our electronic health care records and STATMAN training reports.
We use a wide variety of evidence-based therapy approaches with children and young people, with opportunities for further development in IAPT (in association with London University).
All staff receive regular clinical supervision, access to a variety of CPD sessions with Clinical Leads, clinical and caseload discussions with senior colleagues.
