Pay : £33,222 to £43,041 per annum
We aim to offer individually tailored support for children and young people (CYP), aged 0-19 who present with a range of neurodevelopmental difficulties. You will gain experience of working with children who have a global learning disability, learning difficulties and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD. The role involves developing complex assessments and formulations which are contributed to by the multidisciplinary teams and shared within the multi-agency context.
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about and committed to working with children and young people who have a neurodevelopmental difficulties and their families. In addition, showing a commitment to multi-agency working is central to our approach, providing timely input to cross-agency reporting and safeguarding.
You will be supporting families in holistic ways and as such, will contribute to shared formulations drawing on a range of models including neuropsychological, systemic, behavioural and biological models. The post holder will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and other agencies in a variety of community settings including school, home and respite settings using a range of different modalities. The post holder will have principal bases according to their job description and will be required to work across county according to client and service need in a planned way.
The ideal candidate will be:
Able to develop individual case formulations for all CYP integrating clinical assessment data with evidence based therapeutic models in order to plan interventions for CYP and collaboratively engage them in the process of interventions.
Able to plan and lead workshops and therapeutic groups with CYP and families.
Able to maintain a high degree of professionalism when working in settings where there is a highly emotive atmosphere.
Flexible in their approach and have resilience under pressure
Able to work both in a team environment and autonomously

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
