ELFT (East London NHS Foundation Trust) is making a positive difference to thousands of people’s lives, providing support so that they can fulfil their potential and enjoy healthy lives.

Are you passionate about the health and wellbeing of young people in Bedfordshire? Are you the person we are looking for to join our team to help us help young people develop the skills and knowledge to enable them to deal with the challenges they may face? You will work with schools and other appropriate settings to encourage and help them develop a whole school/ organisation approach to emotional wellbeing.

You will be responsible for the delivery of the Children and Young People's program of work, including IAPT based training which has a focus on school support. It will include working with an allocated group of schools to engage them in the program and offer support, consultation, assessment and training.

This is a full time position (37 hours per week), but a job share would be considered. The post is embedded within schools with an attached base within Bedfordshire CAMHS (exact location by negotiation). You will be required to be flexible, and be able to travel across Bedfordshire to deliver training and attend meetings.

You will need a relevant professional registration and qualification, with excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. You will need experience in working with children and families, preferably in a school setting. You will need to be able to operate confidently in an environment where IT is the main method of record keeping, communication and program management.

The normal duties of the role will involve travel on a regular basis within Bedfordshire.
