ELFT (East London NHS Foundation Trust) is making a positive difference to thousands of people’s lives, providing support so that they can fulfil their potential and enjoy healthy lives.

An opportunity has arisen for a band 8a Clinical Psychologist/ Neuropsychologist to cover 3 days per week for 9 months of maternity leave in the City and Hackney Mental Health Care of Older People's services (MHCOP), East London NHS Foundation Trust. Psychologists are integral and valued key members of the multidisciplinary teams. The post holder will be primarily responsible for carrying out highly specialist neuropsychological assessments within the Memory service and post diagnostic therapeutic interventions.

The post requires suitable skills in neuropsychological assessment and psychological treatment of older adults and their families, and a passion for the mental health care of older adults and service users with dementia. In addition to regular individual clinical and professional supervision there are fortnightly highly specialist CAT and neuropsychological supervision groups. There are also other psychologists in the teams for peer support.
