Bricklane ward (Female Acute) at Tower Hamlets is looking for someone who can actively participate in organising the activities for the service users, plan of the day meeting, support the OT and able to conduct assessment and take part in the care planning process.

You will be responsible for defining care, ensuring they are individualised and truly meet the needs of the service users, including their physical healthcare requirements. You will ensure that creative and meaningful activities (both individual and group) take place, especially outside the hours of the 9-5 domain, focusing not only on recreational activities but recovery, awareness and moving on.

You may be required to use physical interventions to manage an individual whose behaviour may be injurious to herself or others and with whom non-physical intervention, for example, communication, de-escalation and problem solving skills have been unsuccessful.
