Advanced Specialist Eating Disorders Dietitian Band 7
Are you an experienced specialist dietitian looking for a new challenge? We are a dynamic, innovative, small specialist eating disorders team. We are looking for someone eager to join our team who has knowledge and experience within a specialist child and adolescent eating disorder team.
The post holder will work alongside the multi-disciplinary team assessing and treating children and adolescents with complex eating disorders. The job also involves liaison, triaging work and responding to urgent presentations.
The specialist dietitian will work within a multi-disciplinary team working with a range of eating disorders (anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating and purging disorder) and young people of different ages. There is also an element of outreach work when admission to a Tier 4 unit is required.
The role will require the post holder to be able to travel between our two main sites - Bedford and Luton for the clinics. As well as see young people in their homes, schools and other settings as required. Training and supervision are integral to this role.
