An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced physiotherapist in respiratory care to join our community multidisciplinary team leading the development of respiratory physiotherapy for our community services.
To succeed in this post you will need sound clinical knowledge and proven experience of managing patients with respiratory disease. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team who will work across community services providing support to staff and patients alike in disease and self-management education of respiratory disease.
You will need to be able to adapt to a fast moving service and possess the clinical skills and ability to work independently or as part of the larger multi-disciplinary team when required. You will provide high quality care in an appropriate and timely manner which is responsive to patients need whilst adhering to recognised guidelines.
The successful candidate must have good communication and organizational skills with a flexible approach to meet the ever-changing needs of community services.
We are looking for an experienced practitioner who will be able to lead and further develop the provision of competency based assessments, teaching, education and supervision programmes and support the development of team members within EPCTs and community services.
You will be supported through regular team meetings, 1-1 sessions, ongoing education with access to a professional team of nurses and AHPs to provide mentorship and support.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
