ELFT (East London NHS Foundation Trust) is making a positive difference to thousands of people’s lives, providing support so that they can fulfil their potential and enjoy healthy lives.

The Coborn Centre for Adolescent Mental Health is an in-patient unit for young people aged between 12-18 years with acute mental health problems and highly complex mental health needs. The unit is comprised of a twelve bedded Acute in-patient ward, a fourteen bedded Psychiatric intensive care unit and six places in the Day service.

We would like an enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our service. The post will offer the opportunity to work in, and develop, an innovative specialist service. This post offers you the opportunity to use your imagination and creativity to really help make a difference to the lives of these young people. It is a full-time post and the hours are subject to the needs of the service. The post involves shift working on evenings and some weekends. Experience of working in a diverse multi-racial community and with young people with complex mental health needs is a benefit.
